The most incompetent group of people we've ever dealt with. They keep setting us up with appointments for people to enter our suite when we're not there. Then when we take time off work to accommodate them, no one shows up. No phone call, no email, no apology, just complete incompetence.
We moved out half of our suite in the general hallways only for no one to show up(2nd time it happened). It was torture.
Never met such incompetent people in all our lives.
Wish I could give them zero stars, 1 is too generous.

I was lost in the downtown area, late for an appointment and upset. I stopped at TPM Properties at 765 Market Street by impulse for help. I was delighted by how helpful Desi, who was behind the desk, was to me. I stopped at another location on my way back and the person was actually unfriendly and didn't answer my question.

I am a current tenant(not for long)in good standing at Chatelaine apartments in Victoria managed by TPM Properties. I used their washing machines which destroyed about $300 worth of my black clothing. I called Tiffany the buildings direct supervisor on two separate occasions and sent pictures. Both times I was told I would get a return call once it was looked into. Both times weeks passed with nothing in response. My third call I was put in touch with Tyler. Once again told I would get a return call. Got a call the following week and was subsequently told "they're not our machines we're not responsible." and to call the number on the machine. Basically left high and dry by TPM. They didn't even offer to look into it for me and just(no pun intended)washed their hands of my complaint. I am very disappointed with the staff at TPM's offices. They are my biggest bill payment and for such high rent I feel a level of service, respect and accountability is not unreasonable. 1 STAR. Can't give zero or I would.

I've lived in a TPM property for about 2.5 years now and will be leaving soon. My time has not been perfect because I had a couple mice and some bugs and stuff, but that's just part of living in an old building by a park. Their RESPONSES were wonderful. I've never complained about anything and NOT had TPM show up to deal with it SAME DAY.

Problems WILL happen with rentals, but responsiveness like that is a pretty rare thing. I've found that TPM were reasonable in every situation, and they've been very easy to work with in my time here and have always been respectful in their communications.

While the building isn't gleaming and new, TPM demand a minimum standard of maintenance on buildings, regardless of what owners might want to let slide, and as a result TPM has never overlooked anything that has needed a repair, and it's been done quickly and without hassle. This includes sink repairs (put a new sink in), replacing my toilet flapper when the water kept running, and so forth.

They've also never entered without my permission, and never given anything less than 24 hours' notice for entry, which might be the law but isn't the case everywhere I've lived.

With over 20 years of apartment rentals under my belt, I've found TPM to be some of the best managers I've ever lived under, and don't hesitate to recommend them.
