Update: The high-rise unit has been leaking for two days and has dropped many worms. I continued to report it and finally found the unit with the help of the staff. After more than two months of continuous communication, the matter finally came to a final conclusion and I have received an email reply. Thank you everyone!

I don't know why I have sent emails to the building manager many times, but I haven't received any response. It all started on the afternoon of August 3rd when someone knocked on my door and told me that the balcony was leaking to the unit downstairs. However, when the staff entered my unit and checked the balcony, they found that the leak was coming from the unit upstairs, and the staff took photos and recorded it.
That night, August 3rd. The leak in the upstairs unit was even worse, like a waterfall. I went downstairs in person to tell the front desk staff about this. And I took photos and sent emails.

The leak continued until 4:32 pm on August 4th, when I sent a second email with photos to the Concierge University District email address. Informed them that my upstairs unit was still leaking, and the water was yellow.

But on August 7th, I received two warnings from them, both of which said that my house was leaking on August 3rd and 4th, and I would be fined. During this period, I contacted Concierge and the building manager many times, but did not receive any positive response.

As a victim of water leakage, I am very dissatisfied with these two fines. On August 29 and September 10, the unit above me continued to leak. If the unit below me still reports it, does that mean I need to be warned and punished all the time?

I contacted Argundas for a month to resolve the issue. But never got any response. As far as I know, he was responding to other people's emails. But he didn't respond to my emails, which made me very disappointed.

June 10, 2024 Update:

Finally got a prompt response from the management today, they are still not being apologetic.

Unlike the first time, with all the evidences on hand, the property manager was trying to convince me that all the water that is drippling like a single line is considered rainwater, even with the white bubbles on the floor and especially it is not raining outside. This time although waited a week, but I am still happy for getting back to me on this.

With the delivery of packages, the main issue for this is the security risk inside this building and it is being cherry picked for not answering. It is not realistic for any residents in this building who are working from 9 – 5 to intercept the packages, especially when the deliveries are made in the morning which is leaving them vulnerable to be stolen, especially when there’s more than 500 units living here.

I believe management’s understanding contains some inaccuracies and a little bit of misunderstanding. No one is claiming the concierge should be liable for any goods being stolen. Up to this point, I can 100% confirm that the management don’t know exactly what the situation is and already initiated a blame game. The building I am living in shared the same concierge with another building and with the concierge on the other side. The burglary inside my building is further confirming anything leaving outside next to the intercom, or right inside the hallway, or even inside a mailbox are vulnerable to be stolen. What is the update for the burglary? This has prompted me to send all the packages to the concierge. Carriers wouldn’t leave them on the ground when there’s a concierge.

Per the management said, “the building is over 500 units and it takes on average up to 5 minutes to intercept and log individual delivery for each package.” Imagine if half of the residents at this building ordered just one package, and it will take them at least 20 hours to finish and I would really doubt the concierge won’t have the time on their phones playing with their Instagram and taking a break beyond the time posted.

As well, thank you for letting me know my landlord only called one time and didn't spend extra time on calling Tribe for this. With all said above, it is simply indicating Tribe has never looked into the buildings, and I would highly recommend to drop by and see what the issues are and check whether concierge is on their phones now.

Beware: Tribe Property Management. A recipe for failure.

I'm compelled to share my harrowing experience to prevent others from making the same mistake. Tribe boasts about their expertise, but in reality, they're disorganized and unresponsive.

From day one, Tribe's communication was abysmal. Calls and emails were met with silence, leaving me in the dark about crucial matters.

Their incompetence knows no bounds.

Don't be fooled by their slick marketing. They're experts at one thing only: driving your property into the ground. If you want your investment to fail spectacularly, look no further than Tribe Property Management.

Called as I was having a problem where I was renting (Tribe building), and didn’t feel comfortable speaking to Property Caretaker. Lady flat out denied to building being under their management even though posters of Tribe were in building & I later received mail from them. Useless if you need help with a problem.

Worst management company I have ever dealt with. A water leak in a unit 2 levels up took 5 and a half days to be dealt with and getting any updates was almost impossible without calling the office and harassing them first.

If only 0 stars was an option. Not even worth writing about. Just ask someone who is actively using them.

Telling me to email you is exactly what the property manager from Tribe would tell us when we had issues. Guess what- I have and I'm still waiting for a response from July.

Fionna Ferrian has been very professional and pleasant to discuss realistic solutions to several of our 5yr old, 317unit building's serious issues. A huge contrast to our nothing but negative experieces with AWM Property Mgnt. I believe TRIBE(Gateway) Property Mgnt deserves the opportunity to manage our building.

Poor customer service/management. Trying to reach office since 4days regarding serious health issue(mice in kitchen). Every time call gets transfer to another person and the concerning person do not respond. Capturing mice by own. No responsible landlord!!!!
