If you’re considering renting from Tryon Asset Management, be aware of the issues before making a decision. I lived at 330 Clarence Street, and the experience was far from what was advertised.

Some of the main concerns:

- Cockroaches persisted despite multiple exterminator visits, likely due to the overall lack of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Needles were frequently found around the building, especially outside. Even after reporting them, it took days for them to be removed.
- The building is labeled as non-smoking, but the hallways consistently smelled of cigarettes. Management claimed they didn’t notice any issue.
- The bathtub paint peeled after one shower, the day i moved in.
- Trash accumulated in the stairwell, and cleaning was infrequent.
- Laundry was left in washers for days, creating a rotting smell in the laundry rooms. Requests to management to notify tenants went unanswered, leaving piles of abandoned laundry on multiple floors.
- Maintenance requests were not handled in a timely manner. The front door was broken for weeks, possibly months, leaving the building unsecured and allowing non-residents to enter and stay in the lobby.
- The building is dog-friendly, but when dogs barked non-stop for six or more hours in the evening and at night, nothing was done. Management provided no guidance on how to address the issue, leaving tenants to deal with the ongoing noise.
- Online reviews for the building appear misleading, with a few five-star ratings from accounts with no other reviews.

I chose to leave two months before my lease ended.

At $1549 per month (excluding utilities) for what is essentially a studio apartment, the conditions did not align with the price. Prospective tenants should consider these factors before renting.

Tryon Asset Management was extremely helpful and professional when I was looking for my new home. They went above and beyond to help me secure my unit. The unit was very clean and I have no complaints. I now have lived here for 5 months and have had no issues. There maintenance team is friendly and professional, when dealing with them. I recommend Tryon Asset Management and would definitely rent from them in the future.

Absolutely the worst. They keep posting fake 5 star reviews just to find the next sucker.

They saddled me with a unit that was paying the central heating for the triplex. I had an arrangement that they would pay me and my roommate 720$ at the end of the year but they gave it all to him after I had left. The reason that I left, was because it was an abusive situation and they were well aware of it all. When I called them out on this, they told me to ask him nicely for my share, my abuser... the audacity.

When I did decide to leave was after the one year lease was up and I had moved to a month to month. They refused my N9 and continued to gaslight me over and over saying I couldn't get off the lease. I spoke to a lawyer, wasn't good enough. Finally spoke to a second lawyer. They couldn't care less. This caused me so much stress and cost me financially.

Callista is absolutely AMAZING to deal with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive property manager. She knows her stuff and they seem to have qualified and competent staff judging based on their quality of work completed for me. She answers her calls\texts promptly and takes care of my properties\tenants right away. Their are reasonably prices as well. I have worked with other companies in London ON in the past but hands down Tyron is by far the BEST!
