This Skate Park is a beautiful and well-loved area surrounded by lush greenery and scenic trails. The park’s serene environment provides the perfect backdrop for a day out, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy the natural setting.

one of the few drawbacks is the lack of seating options. A previously popular bench under a shelter has been removed, leaving visitors with nowhere to sit and relax. We were disappointed during our visit today with friends to find that this convenient seating area was gone. Moreover, the park lacks adequate shelter from the sun on hot days and protection from the rain, which can be inconvenient for visitors looking to escape the elements.

On the positive side, the newly installed skateboard area is a great addition. It’s well-built and thoughtfully designed, catering to the needs of skateboard enthusiasts. The kids seemed to thoroughly enjoy this new feature, which added a lot of excitement to their day at the park.

Overall, while Valley Park Skate Park offers a wonderful setting and excellent skateboarding facilities, the removal of the sheltered bench and lack of weather protection highlights the need for more seating options and covered areas to enhance the overall experience for visitors.
This will definitely make it perfect
Free parking is a bonus along with washroom facilities.

Described as one of Hamilton's favorite skateparks. There was still a little snow around, but once it is all melted it is great for beginners and very experienced riders.

It's a very sweet skate park me and My befriend biked it over there and the other skaters were really chill and there's a good amount of ramps to drop into too must say I would probably come back here in the future 😆

Fun park, it's new, so the concrete is not rough and kinda slippery. It's nice to ride and has nice flow

Great park even for an old bag of bones like myself. As an old novice skater I found it a good place to just cruise around. I don't do tricks I just like riding transitions. It has a good flow that lets me ride around for a good little session before I need to reset. There's a good looking bowl that is way too advanced for me but I'm sure it'd be fun for the skilled enough. Outside of the actual skating section there are 2 picnic tables that are under a good cover to give shade. Also lots of grass to just relax in. When I was there midday/weekday I was solo, so not sure how busy it gets later in the day.

Really fun and well designed park for transition skating and such. Good for learning also good spots for practicing certain skills/trick and not be in the way of others. Note it is a fast and slick park

Great spot! If you are going to skate the bowl bring a broom and dust pan, it was a bit gritty slippy after a windy day.
