We had our kitchen completely redone.

I did go to other places before I knew about Van Dyk.. The other businesses were professional but didn’t get the measurements right and also made a template of our kitchen smaller than it was to begin with.

I thought I was never going to have the kitchen I wanted when I came across Van Dyke on the internet. When Elliott came into my home he was extremely fast and knew exactly what I wanted. Any questions I had I could email or text him and he would respond in a very quick manner.

I completely would recommend Elliott Van Dyk to anyone if you want a family owned business that’s knows what they are doing!

I sought out Elliot based on a recommendation of a family friend after our contractor bailed on our renovation without completing our laundry room. He helped us draft our cabinet layout, building the cabinets quickly and installed them professionally. He was prompt on all communications - even when he was away on vacation. WE SAVED MONEY and were able to support a local Chilliwack company! Calling Van Dyk Cabinets was the best thing we could have done. The cabinets are made of real birch plywood, the drawers are all high end soft closing and they arranged the quartz counter tops with installation. We are from Singapore and have recently bought a house in downtown Chilliwack. The kitchen cabinets, though still functional and in pretty good conditions, looked dated. We decided to renovate the kitchen. Hiring a kitchen renovation contractor to give the old kitchen a new facelift would cost us a bomb. To give the old kitchen a new facelift without breaking the bank, we opted to deal directly with a cabinet maker in Chilliwack.

We presented our draft kitchen plan to two cabinet makers in Chilliwack: one to Van Dyk Cabinets (a boutique cabinet maker) and the other to a medium-sized cabinet maker; and requested for a quote. We first contacted the medium-sized cabinet maker, our first choice. But we received no response and left a voicemail message. It took five business days for the medium-sized cabinet maker with a dedicated Sale Manager to just respond to our request for a quote. In contrast, Elliott of Van Dyk Cabinets responded to our call instantly and he promised to let us have the quote within two business days. We received a fair and reasonable quote from him on the 3rd day. By contrast, the medium-sized cabinet maker was uncontactable over the next two weeks. On the 3rd week after we have finalized our contract with Van Dyk Cabinets and paid the deposit, we received the quote from the medium-sized cabinet maker.

Elliott could be reached easily and his workmanship is of superior quality. We were extremely happy with the end product and service provided by Van Dyk Cabinets.
