They don't allow pets to visit. Pets are the psychological support for seniors. Is there a law to prohibit the pets to visit the seniors? The Janitor, Raymond, is rude and miserable. He didn't allow people to smoke in their car in the parking, is it legal for him to say that? He is manipulating his power illegally. The residents are not inmates.

We are a not-for-profit organization and we go to Villa Elegance to teach brain beat dance every week with only a halt during COVID-19 pandemic. Our instructors can feel the great community spirit there with responsible staff, passionate Board and Yee Hong personal support workers. Residents (seniors_) are happy and feel safe with sense of belonging. I even heard residents saying they refused to enter nursing home. Some seniors keep their home at Villa Elegance for years due to the sense of belonging and great memory.

I lived there and services are excellent from Yee Hong with monthly blood measurement and some recreational functions. Board also does a lot of volunteer work of hosting events, coordinating onsite COVID-19 vaccination and flu shots since 2020. During COVID-19 the Board also did online grocery shopping for seniors and in order to further protect seniors, Board coordinated with outside supplier and volunteers to pickup ordered groceries to deliver to curbside. Since Villa Elegance was built in 1999 tailored to seniors of Chinese culture where most speak Cantonese from Hong Kong, language barrier was removed with inhouse grocery order. Villa Elegance welcome resident who do feel blend in with this originally intent. There are at least 3 units who do not know Chinese but are happy living here with respect for each other.
Maintenance fee here include 24 hours onsite medical emergency response and some recreational activities, management fee, water, heat, electricity and central air-conditioning. It is not fair to have others who did not live here or have no family members living here to put unfair statement.
