I am a council member of a 40 unit strata and have been dealing with TeamHollett from West Coast Property Management for close to a year now and have only positive things to say about Jon Hollett and his team. He is knowledgeable and impartial in any information that might be requested of him and is both respectful and prompt in dealing with any issues that arise and require his attention. I absolutely recommend both him and his team - they have proven themselves to be a great resource.

I had a disappointing experience with one of the strata managers. They responded to my email in a disrespectful manner, telling me to 'stop stating that., when I sent an explanation email asking for more clarification. It was unprofessional and left a bad impression.

Our building’s experience with this company was unfortunate. It was near impossible to get through to anyone on the phone, and the communication via email was nearly as bad. My questions were only ever simple things, like asking to have my intercom code fixed, and I went weeks and weeks without a response. When I did eventually hear back via email they were polite and concise, but that feels like the bare minimum.

We had a flood that affected several units earlier this year and my unit was damaged - not once did they reach out to me to communicate next steps or issue a notice of what had happened to the rest of the building. Luckily we have some great people in our building on council that have worked hard to communicate information amongst residents, otherwise we’ve pretty much been on our own.

Our council wrote them a letter asking for more support and better communication, which resulted in them resigning from managing our property (less than a year in). I know it’s a lot of work managing properties but simply quitting instead of addressing the major communication problems with our council is disappointing.
