Terrible service. After coming to an agreement about a bin rental, I was told on the day of, after the delivery window, and by email that the driver couldn't drop the rental bin off at the property. Was told that they "checked" google maps and they wouldn't be able to deliver the bin because the truck was too big and heavy for the street to drop off a 40yd bin. Something they could've checked immediately and saved me the headache. I had already hired laborers and they were waiting for a bin. They left me hanging with 3 laborers waiting. After scrambling and calling everyone I could I finally got lucky with a company that could drop off a bin in the afternoon. And they had absolutely no issue getting a bin into my driveway. Probably because they actually showed up to the site!! Poor service. Amateur hour. Terrible drivers. All around poor experience. Not what I expected from a name like Waste Management. 2.2 rating is quite generous.

WM corporate is single handedly the worst customer service of all time. I was passed thru 24 agents, over 4 hours, all just to cancel a dumpster I ordered. This utter incompetence, unprofessionalism and completely disorganized nature of this company makes it the all time leader in dysfunction. Please find any other company to deal with, 100% would be a better experience than with WM....

Absolutely terrible service. They met with us to negotiate a new contract last week and the very same day, they left bins out for the next 3 days. They are still sitting at the curb and they have refused to change jitney services after 3 months of complaints.

Such terrible service today one of my container fell into the recycling truck while service and driver doesn’t seem to care I have proof don‘t sign any contract with this company is straight up trash pick ups are always delayed or missed.

Waste Management has been generally good at our building, but wierd with blue recycling bins....slow on cardboard bin....once or twice weird on organic bins. Our garbage bins, wow, emptied and ready by 8am every week!!! That part works LAMF.

We have been "forced" customers for decades. They are a big US company and do not care at all about Canadian customers. Getting to a human being can take multiple attempts over a few days. Their very unhelpful chatbot asks for a "zip code", and when you put in a postal code, it tells you that you have made a mistake!!

Our garbage and compost have not been picked up since before Christmas, so the remains of the feast are fermenting in the garage.

I really doubt they are going to come today (05 Jan 2024) so we hauled the bins back to the garage - again at 8PM.

We cannot report a missed pick-up, as the option to do so is greyed out. Maybe I am supposed to wait until midnight to report a missed pick up? We cannot leave the bins out overnight due to strong winds, hungry bears, and overzealous bylaws officers.

For this we pay over CAD $1300 a year.

If you have a choice, look elsewhere. Look at reviews, do your homework, find a company that will provide:
a.) Service, and
b.) Customer Service.
